I am 20 years old. I am currently going to University of Cincinnati to major in English. I have been an avid reader since I began reading at a very young age. I have decided to take up reviewing as a hobby and to never sell out! My biggest dream as of right now would be to become a very well-known published author. Keeping my fingers crossed. Do not be afraid to email me @ CassandraRichards25@gmail.com if you have any questions or if you would like for me to review your book! :D

Gabriel's Inferno/Rapture by Sylvain Reynard

Symopsis:
Gabriel's Inferno:
Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption. When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide. An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love and redemption, "Gabriel's Inferno" is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man's escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible...forgiveness and love.

Gabriel's Raspture:

Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine affair with his former student, Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and the raptures of sex. But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante's fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever? In Gabriel's Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel's Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader's mind, body, and soul, forever.

**********************

Gabriel's Inferno is about a young student, Julia is begining in Mr. Emerson's Dante's specialist class. I never heard of Dante, or half of the people but it was so much fun learning about them. At first I really didn't like Professor Gabriel Emerson, and I thought the beginning started awfully slow. It picked up pretty quick after a few pages from the beginning and I got the inkling that Julia knew Mr. Emerson before his class, but it took a while before the story revealed secrets. I enjoyed the playful banter between Gabriel and Julia. After they quit being stubborn and got together it was fun. They get together, fight through the truths and lies surrounding one faithful, drugged out night.

(Mild Spoilers; book 2)
Gabriel's Rapture is when the shit hits the fan and everything they once fought for is now crumbling down around them. They get caught having an affiar at school, people's lives are in jeopardy and they split, of course. BUT instead being sensible and letting eachother in on thier secrets, shit gets messed up.

This was an amazing two reads. I got to read Gabriel's Inferno/Rapture back to back and imerssed myself in the world the beautiful, talented Sylvain Reynard created. The plot was original, the characters were relateable, the scenes believeable, and the sex mind-blowing! I enjoyed Inferno better than Rapture, but was glad with the happy ending. I would love to read more about Gabriel and Julia's future together. Highly recommended!
