I am 20 years old. I am currently going to University of Cincinnati to major in English. I have been an avid reader since I began reading at a very young age. I have decided to take up reviewing as a hobby and to never sell out! My biggest dream as of right now would be to become a very well-known published author. Keeping my fingers crossed. Gossamer by S.L. Naeole

Where do I even begin?
Gossamer is about a girl, named Sophia who has had a bit of a rough past. She has jumped from home to home through the foster care system almost her entire life. And she is famously known in Oregon as the Blithe baby. Her mom was "crazy" had killed her husband and tried to kill Sophia while she was still in the womb, right after she was born, and again when she was only three. The story starts off with Sophia at a carnival with her foster sister, Astor, and boyfriend of three years, Jackson. Jackson tries to win Sophia a stuffed cow. This is where Dex comes in. Sigh... But only for like split twopointsevenseconds. Anywho, then Sophia finds out her district lines of schools has changed dramatically. She now has to go to Gossamer. Which is deemed as the "Perfect" school. Everyone there is perfect, gorgeous, and also down right mean as hell. Sophia does not fit in well and her rival Brea makes her time there hellish and back. Guess who else goes to this school? You got that right! Dex. Thank god. Guess who hits her with a car and smashes her skateboard to pieces? Dex.

This book was amazing. Ever since I read the first chapter a couple months ago, I could not wait to get my hands on this bad boy and go to town with it. Then, I started freaking out and thinking: "What if this book sucks??? What if Naeole does not live up to the high expectations I put her under! Well, she went above and beyond. Not only was this story amazing and original, it also has real life tragidies that a lot of females have to through. I love how she makes Sophia human. She is not too emotional and she is not made of glass. Naeole's characters react like humans! Not some robots Naeole has created. Amazing. And the love story! Do NOT get me started because I would go on for days! It had me wanting more of Sophia and Dex.

Cover: I love this, and now I know why there is a light house on the cover as well (Hint: Dex made it happen!)

Overall: Abso-freaking-lutely ah-maze-ing!!! Loved it!! I would recommend this book to everybody and anybody!!!! :) You will not be dissapointed in this story. Very original and amazing. And just when you think everything is done and there is going to be a happy ending! THINK AGAINNNNN!!!!!! Awesome. :)

The Angel Experiment by James Patterson

Welcome to Maximum Ride's life. Its pretty crappy. Not only is she poor and a orphan, but she is also a mutant that some "school" of scientist made. Oh, and Max is also the leader of like five kids. Max is only 14 and already has to act like Jason Bourne. Running away from the school and trying to find out why all of this has happened.

I don't know how I feel about this book just yet. I feel like its a very young kids book. I mean, it wasn't horrible, but I don't understand why every one thinks this book is just amazing. I mean, it was a good read, don't get me wrong, but I DID NOT find anything that was just like OHMIGAHHH, DIS BUUK IS UHMAHZINNG! Nothing made me gasp, and I didn't want to stay up all night reading it.

I give this book three stars.

Book Cover: Nothing special.

Will I read the next book? Sure. Why not?

Books I am currently reading;

Cannot wait to finish these!!!! :)

Butterface by Gwen Hayes

Butterface is about a girl, named Beth with deepers scars on the inside on the outside. She has a birth defect which causes difiguration on the face. She has had plenty of surgeries, but still feels like she isn't "pretty" enough. Cue in heartthrob Soccer God, Lucky. Who has everything and is popular 101. He meets Beth at a 25/7 Breakfast Diner. She serves him and they begin a weird kind of friendship that turns into something more.

I overally all enjoyed this short read. I just connected with it could relate to Beth in so many ways. I suffered from shingles which left me scared pretty bad, not as bad as difiguration, but enough to where I was teased in school and have been called crater face way too many times to count. (kids are cruel!) I loved this and the characters. It really showed so much emotion and description for being such a short story. Beth was quirky and funny, and Lucky was sweet and charming. (It surprises me that there are actually really hot guys out there who are very down to earth, you just have to look in the right places!)

Over all: Amazing, would not change a thing. I would recommend this short read to anyone!!!

Cover: A+ It is so pretty and I love how it fits perfectly with the story! :)

Firelight by Sophie Jordan

Firelight. Where to start!

Jacinda is a draki. Descendents from dragons. She is also the first fire-breather in generations. Which makes her very special and important to her draki bretherans. They also want to rule her life. The story starts off fast and straight into actions. Jacinda and her friend, Az are breaking the rules by flying on the outside of the safety zone. Almost costing their lives. Hunters are after draki and all the amazing money within thier bones, blood, and whatever else. While she is hiding and wounded from the Hunters, Jacinda meets Will. This amazing gorgeous guy who doesn't turn her in, in fact he lets her go. When Jacinda finally gets away her mom takes her from the "Pride" (Where draki are safe and hidden from the world) and into the real world. This is where all the crazy shit takes place.

I really liked this story. Very original. I also love the fact about the whole draki/dragons thing. I thought I would not like it at first and then the story took me away. I could not put it down. Now, of course there were some things where I wish the author would have added more. Like Jacinda's relationship with her Dad, or Az. I wish she would have kind of had Jacinda think of a few more memories with them, or have Jacinda think "Hmmm, I wonder if Az ever got punished for flying with me that day?" It would have made a lot more sense if Az anf Jacinda were really that close like she later described in the book. I just think adding those memories with those selected characters would have made me feel more for Jacinda's dad, and supposedly best friend.

Over all: I loved EVERYTHING about this book. The characters were amazing, the story was original and amazing. I don't see where people were mad about soemthing about dragons and wolves. I don't see where those people made that connection. I will definitely read the second book when it comes out later this year!!!! :D

Book Cover: A++++ (I am a sucker for red hair. It just so pretty<3)

Falling Under by Gwen Hayes

This book was pretty good!

This story is about a girl named Theia. She is shelterd most of her life by her proper, pristine Father. He thinks this is the only thing will keep her safe and out of trouble. You learn her mother died while giving birth to Theia. Which to her and to her father it feels like it was her fault her mom had died.

Then one night, while reading on her iPhone, Theia sees a man falling from the sky, burning. He lands in the yard and she goes to his aid. This part was a little weird. Theia seemed so alarm that some dude just fell out the sky and now was possibly in A LOT of pain and dying. No, she was more worried about what her dad would think of the burnt lawn. Real nice, Theia.

Theia feels like she is losing her mind because then she starts dreaming some weird stuff. In her dreams a young man appears and always leaves her wanting more. Its starts getting strange to her when that very same guy from her dreams begins going to her school.

From here I will let you see what happens. Its a pretty good book and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Hell, even strangers!

I loved every aspect of this book, and the fact it held some originality to it. I loved the fact I had no idea who Haden was until half way through.

The main character wasn't as whinny, but she was needy and that kind of bothered me. But, there was some parts where Theia saved herself and stuck up for herself, even to Haden. Escpecially when she takes what she wants and doesn't even care if she does it in front of the school. I was really cheering her on then!

I wish she would have rebelled it little more to her Father. Not like behind his back, but to his face. I wish that was a little more intense.

Read this book. You will not be dissapointed. ^.^
Over all: LOVEDDDDD!

Cover: I LOVE THIS COVER! No lie, It is super pretty! <3

Have you seen that sexy new cover????

ejfk enrgknk;rjgi ergioj LrngklNWtjhn "IWJrpoghn

That is exactly what goes through my mind when I see this beautiful master piece. I am just in awe over this cover. I was reading up on it and I saw a lot of people posting nasty things. I am all for opinions, and I respect them ONE hundred percent, but the only reason they were bashing the cover was because the book was horrible. I will be the first one to tell you that Halo was a disgrace, but oh, boy. That cover was gorgeous. (I wish I could say the same for the second installment of Halo, but I will just leave it at....uh?)

Anyway, the point I am trying to get at is what do you think of this cover? What is your general idea?

Honestly, I CANNOT wait until this comes out. First, Hush, Hush had me reeled in. I was living it up with Nora and being mad at, but secretly in love with Patch. (I wish I could say his real name, but I DO NOT want to ruin it for those who have not read this series yet.) I really hope this third installment of Hush, Hush will live up to my expectations and leave me in utter awe.

I really wish this was not the last book. :(

The Fallen: Raziel Review.

Description: Allie Watson recently just finds out she is dead and was ran over by a bus. Tragic. Then there is this HANDSOME, sexy man, named Raziel that suppose to whisk her away to heaven. Nope. To hell. At the last minute Raziel sees the flames and pulls her back in severely injuring himself. Now they stuck with each other, and I will tell you what, the sexual tension was so tense they bickered like two married couple. Annoying. Until finally happily ever ending? I don't know.

My Opinion: I like this story, just some parts seem really off to me. I don't like how they bickered through out the book. It was absolutely annoying. Granted at some points it was amusing and went along with the story just fine, but after a while it started to tick me off to where I did not want to read it anymore. I get enough bickering from my home life. I don't want to hear it from a book. Another part was how she was dead, but still ate, went to the bathroom, aged, ate some more, and had sex a lot. I did not mind the sex part one bit, but I don't understand if she is dead, shouldn't she at least not age? That is just my thought. These things annoyed the shit out of me the much farther I read, because it then began to get confusing.

Now, granted I gave four stars to this damned book, but it was a WELL deserved four stars. The story and plot are absolutely amazing. I loved it. Original. Anything original DESEREVES credit. I loved how this was not a YA novel, but I got all the necessary feelings that I would usually get from those YA novels, WITHOUT feeling like a prude!!!! It was amazing. It was just NOT what I was expecting. I picked this book up thinking I was going to get that teenage romance. WRONG! I got a whole a hell a lot more than that. It was very graphic. Think mild erotica. I liked this fact, again becuase I did not feel like a prude little girl reading what teens read. Not saying that is a bad thing, its just NOT my thing.

Overall: Anyway, I liked this book, I am going to give the next one, The Fallen: Demon, a very fair try. Hopefully it doed not dissapoint and I can still get my daily dose of sexy Raziel. :)

Book Cover: A+++++++. Who wouldn't want a SEXY beefy man with wings hogging all the cover space? I want to meet them and laugh in their faces for lying their asses off (granted, it you're a guy, then I would understand)
